We are IC Works
We are people with a learning disability
we are autistic people
we are carers
we are parents
we are advocates
we are role models
We are people. We are IC Works.
We all have different lived experiences, and all our differences allow us to do what we do well.
We are passionate about what we do, we're all good listeners, we learn from each other and support each other as a team and as co-workers.
We treat everyone equally, and everyone's views are listened to and respected. We are interested in everyone's personal development and ensure everyone has their own role.
All experts are directly employed by IC Works and paid the London Living Wage.
What is co-production?
Co-production means working together so that everyone's views are included. All our work is guided by experts by experience.
We value their life stories because they support us in creating high-quality and accessible information that reflects real life.
Co-production is a key part of who we are, and we are proud to say we do it properly. Experts by experience are fully included in everything we do and often have personal experience with the topics we cover.
Accessible information that reflects real life
The IC Works experts are crucial in directing our projects and enabling us to create accessible information that reflects real life.
Co-production means working together and making sure everyone's views are included. We all have different lived experiences, and all our differences allow us to do what we do well.
Co-production is not just a process. It's a way of life. We take immense pride in doing it right.
Our experts by experience, who are an integral part of our team, are included in everything we do. They are empowered to lead and make a significant contribution to our work.
